BIOSCOPE, a feature under the Thinking Allowed Initiative which will push you over the edge of curiosity and into a space of collaborative thinking and collective learning. Bioscope hopes to be a window to the unseen landscape of our everyday lives by screening thought provoking short films and documentaries.
Eklavya- the learning series has been named after a character from the epic, Mahabharata who is commonly referred to in the context of describing a perfect disciple. Eklavya's thirst for knowledge and determination immortalised him as a model student.
The Kurukshetra series is designed to encourage exchange of ideas through moderated debates and dialogue on current policy landscape to capture arrange of perspectives. The series is named after the battle ground where the epic war of Mahabharata was fought. The teams (two in principle) pick a side and enter into a verbal battle, unlike the actual Kurukshetra, and present arguments with the intention to mould or change opinions.
